Our Safeguarding Leads in a Sport Organisation programme is an interactive training course with voiceover specifically developed for all committee members, managers and Designated Safeguarding Leads (or Deputy) within a sports organisation.
You can benefit from the course as it considers and highlights:
• Contextual safeguarding in a sports environment
• Child abuse within a sports organisation
• The signs and symptoms of various types
• The statutory framework for Safeguarding Children
The course also teaches you how to recognise risk factors and acknowledge what the latest safeguarding concerns are.
Designated Safeguarding Lead roles and responsibilities are identified enabling you to refer into social care when you have a concern. Your safeguarding policy can be updated appropriately on completion.
This course is CPD accredited by a team of safeguarding experts and the course provides a personalised certificate to you on completion.
