This course has been developed for those who come into contact with adults with a vulnerability on an infrequent basis, for example a volunteer or administration at a health centre.
- Identify why safeguarding vulnerable adults training is so important for everyone within your organisation, enabling an awareness of adults most at risk and determining which factors increase the likelihood of being at risk from harm.
- Recognise how to respond appropriately to a disclosure from a vulnerable adult and identify how to report any concerns that you may have, thereby acknowledging the safeguarding process by adult social care.
